1.) People are fighting all kinds of battles that you don’t know about. Be kind.

2.) Faith and fear are constantly waging war for our attention.

Have we forgotten that other people have struggles too? Have we forgotten that God created them and died for them too?

Loving our neighbor and loving ourself are tied together. We are called to have grace and love for them.

The problem is when we see grace only for us and our tribe, not for people we disagree with.

How do we love our neighbor better?

Assume that God is doing something in them, and pray for them. Pray that they feel God’s love and that He would heal their wounds.

Try intentionally listening to people you disagree with. Have a conversation where you don’t talk, but simply listen, end in prayer, and go reflect on what they said.

“We need to become a people that are less quick to react, and more quick to reflect.”
